When 23-month-old Maddie comes over, I like to have at least 1 activity planned for her to do. The best ideas for her are things that aren't messy (SO different from Kay!) and anything that involves her beloved Minnie Mouse is always a favorite! Of course, for myself I like the ones that are quick and easy.
Score! This one gets a star for every one of those qualifications. In my book, we call that a win!
What you need:
- Baby wipes
- Favorite baby doll or stuffed friend
- An adorable toddler
Maddie was eager to get her hands on the baby wipes. (In fact, that's how I "bribe" her to get her diaper changed - just hand her one and she's a happy camper for a least a couple minutes. She just loves washing things, including her own hands and face. (Easiest kid ever!)
So proposing to her that we give Minnie a bath got her attention. I made up a little song to with each action. "We're gonna wash, wash, wash you little nose...wash, wash, wash your little feet...wash, wash, wash your little bow and then you'll be all clean!" (It's to the tune of "Shake Your Sillies Out", in case you were wondering.) Yes, I can make a song about nearly anything!
My favorite thing about these WaterWipes is that they're chemical-free. The ingredient list is a short one - just water and grapefruit extract. And yet they smell good, too!
Maddie's mom is really into organic and all-natural stuff for her baby so she was excited when I told her about these - and picked up an extra pack at Target to share with her. And I know I feel better about using these wipes on Maddie's sensitive skin as opposed to many other brands. If only I'd known about them when Kay was younger!
