Free Printable Mother's Day Card

I never get tired of them. From the artwork when it was little more than random scribbles to the pictures with the distinct people with arms and legs sticking out of their heads, to the cards I get now that sometimes say things like, "I love you Mom!!! can I have ice crem?"

But sometimes even the most artistic can use a little boost. I put together this simple card that is just waiting to be decorated with love! Print this one out for the kids to decorate for their favorite mom. (P.S. If you're the mom, there's no shame in printing it out and leaving it in a conspicuous place. You deserve it, after all!)
Supplies:
What to do:

Print out the card (I recommend using cardstock, especially if you'll be gluing things on or using markers or paint). Then fold the paper where the two words meet. Cut out the word and your card is ready to decorate!

We used these fun glitter foam stickers we got from CraftProjectIdeas.com. (I always look for ways we can add glitter without a mess!) I also found some craft gems among our supplies that got thrown in there, too.

The whole time Kay was making her card, peeling the back off the stickers and sticking on the gems, she kept saying, "Don't look! You're not looking, right?" No, no, of course not.

So while I wouldn't say no to my own fully-stocked library added on to my house this Mother's Day, I'll be pretty happy with the homemade gift I'm more likely to get this year!

I'd love to know: What's the best Mother's Day gift you ever got?

The Kindergarten Blog Hop has some great ideas to celebrate the moms this month!
