Welcome to day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas series! I have joined up with a group of some awesome bloggers to bring you kid-friendly crafts or activities to celebrate each of the 12 Days of Christmas from the classic song!
Today I have a quick and easy gift idea for you, to go with the 8 maids-a-milking theme. We made a cocoa gift set. I had to do this one when Kay wasn't around because that girl can't see a package of cocoa without having to have some herself.
But it's certainly a gift that most children would be able to help put together. <this is where I would insert a smirky-face emoticon if I could!>

We used a mason jar (my first mason jar "craft"!) with a merry red cap. Then we added in 2 cocoa mix packages, some candy canes and a few marshmallows. I had originally wrapped a bow around it, but it made the jar look like it was wearing a tutu. (Funny, but not festive!)
This is one of those gifts that's easy to make up and have on hand for when you need one quick and unexpectedly.
