Welcome back to Fine Motor Fridays! Check out the end of this post for some other fun ideas for strengthening fine motor skills from other great bloggers!
Our homemade light box has sat unused for a few weeks, so when I saw this stackable cup game at the Dollar Tree, I thought it would be the perfect excuse to get it out again.
Kay has shown an interest in stacking paper cups, so I thought she'd be a fan of this game as well. They showed up great on the light box too!
There was a bit of a learning curve, as she experimented with ways to stack them and whether it worked better if they were upside down or alternated. But she figured it out, as she usually does.
Add some loose parts (glass gems, also a dollar store find) and you've got an entertained preschooler.
Verdict: A great way to spend a dollar!
