Ah, leaf rubbing. The obligatory preschool fall activity. Of course we had to do it. We gathered some leaves, looking for different shapes and ones that weren't too crumbly. We set the leaves on the table, vein-side up, and placed the paper on top and used our own homemade crayon blobs (they don't have any recognizable shape, lol) to rub over the leaf until we had a pretty picture. I don't remember this being so fascinating before. I honestly loved seeing the textures of the leaves appear on the paper. (I need a life, lol!)
And now, on to something new (to me). I'm joining up with Emma of What To Do With the Children to bring you the WOW - We Love Weekends linky. Grab a button and link up your kid-related posts. See what other bloggers are up to and have fun!
