Free Rainbow Dash Birthday Party Invitations

Birthday parties can get real expensive real fast. So to save some money, and because I just enjoy it, I made some things, like the invitations, myself this year.

I had more fun than I'll admit searching around finding just the right image and just the right font. But since I did all that work, it seems a shame to just use the invitations once ourselves and be done with it. Maybe they can be of use to you, too!
Here's what to do:
Download the free Rainbow Dash invitations. Then upload them to a photo editing site, like PicMonkey. There, you can add in all your own fun details, like the time and place and who's celebrating - you know, the important stuff!

Print them out and you're good to go. I highly recommend using cardstock to print them on - much sturdier than regular computer paper! (Quick hint: The cheapest cardstock I've found is at Target. Skip the craft supply stores if possible for this particular supply!)

Here's a generic example of the finished product. I changed the identifying details but otherwise this is how ours turned out. Kay loved that Rainbow Dash was on it. That's it - all she cared about it! Not that Mama did all the individual rainbow zigzags during one long sleepless night. Ah, well! At least she liked them. #MomWin!

Using these? I'd love to know about it! (Makes me want to share more stuff, hint, hint!) Leave me a note and you'll make my day (it doesn't take much!).
