Last year at this time Kay was all about Frozen. I thought for sure that "Let It Go" song would never be out of my head. This year, her new love is My Little Ponies, specifically Rainbow Dash.
Her Christmas gifts were predominately Little Pony-themed, her birthday party will be all about the ponies, and so, of course, we'd have to have Valentines with those some ponies, too. Just as I was thinking, "Where would I buy them?" I thought to myself, "Or I could just make them!"
Have you seen the meme that goes something like, "Why would I buy something for $5 when I can make it myself for $20?" This was a case in point. I probably could have found My Little Pony valentines at the dollar store, all printed and ready to be signed and handed out. Instead, I spent way too much time searching for "just right" clipart images, used up my colored ink and white cardstock printing out the finished product, and even had to cut them myself. And I had a blast!
Yes, apparently I have a thing for making Valentine printables. Go figure.
Anyway, since I spent so much time working on these, I thought there must be someone else out there with a Little Pony fan in need of Valentines. To save you the painstaking search for clipart, all you have to do it print!
