My new thing lately is watercolors. I always avoided them and now I find it so relaxing to just paint.
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to combine my new hobby with this month's process art challenge - stamps.
I gathered the stamps I could find, Kay's watercolors and some brushes (notice our chic water cup - an old Play-Doh container!) and set everything out on the desk.
Kay was all for it because it's not just everyday I let her work at my craft desk!
I'd never used paint on stamps before, so this was as much experimenting for me as for Kay. We painted on the watercolors and stamped it on the cardstock. I liked the imperfect way it came out!
Then Kay decided to try another stamp method - coloring on the stamps with markers. I prefer that way to ink pads anyway.
She stamped for awhile but lost interest pretty quickly. It probably wasn't messy enough for her. Funny, that was what I liked about this one!
