Invitation to Create - Christmas Ornaments

I've mentioned before how I love those clear ornaments you can fill up with, well, almost anything. There's just so many things you can do with them, even for the less-than-crafty among us.
An invitation to create some festive ornaments - and practice fine motor skills too!
This was an easy invitation to create that we did last year. The fact that it's also great for fine motor skills was just a happy bonus! I raided our craft supplies for anything red and green, set everything out, including the ornaments to be filled, and let Kay do her thing.

We used:
  • Pom poms
  • Counting cubes
  • Feathers
  • Clear plastic ornaments
  • Jingle bells, from our friends at CraftProjectIdeas.com

Kay made one ornament she was pretty proud of that had one lonely jingle bell in it. She hung it proudly on the tree. At that rate she could have made dozens of ornaments!

But a few others came out a bit more colorful. (Though she still loved adding the jingle bells so that everytime she walked by the tree she could ring them!)
