To help Kay become more familiar with the letters in her full name, I cut out small squares of paper and wrote one letter on each of them, then taped them to her large toddler building blocks. Then I printed her name out clearly on another piece of paper, being sure to write large enough. I lay everything out and asked her to match up the letter blocks that were scrambled on the floor to the letters in her name. She managed to find and match them - in order - and afterwards she liked connecting the blocks into a name tower.
