Kay had never tried straw-painting, so she seemed a little confused when I put a straw on the table to go with the other paint stuff. I showed her how to put a splotch of paint on her paper, and then use the straw to blow it around and she was intrigued.
We did a little of everything at this art session - there was sponge painting, straw painting, and, of course, finger painting. She even used the empty paint bottle as a stamp to make circles on her picture. A creative - if messy - afternoon.
