Alphabet stamps are a great way to expose a child to letters in a playful way.
With that in mind, I first just set out the materials - stamps and some diffferent paper - and let Kay create and explore as she wished.

She ended up trying to stamp the whole alphabet, which involved singing the alphabet song, oh, 26 times. (The ironic part was that the stamps were already in order, all she had to do was take the next one in line, but she didn't like that idea.)
The next day I made a simple "see it, stamp it" sheet. There are printables for this kind of technique but our printer is tempermental (really - it only works when it wants to like a tantruming toddler!) so I made this simple one by hand. I used some simple sight words, and her own name to add special interest.
Her task was to read the word and then spell it out with the stamps.
Another super-easy one to set up was this matching game. We've done a similar thing before with stickers, but this time it was connecting the matching upper- and lower-case letters with a line.
