Kay's favorite thing to do with bubble wrap - dancing on it with her bare feet - isn't exactly enough to fill a post and doesn't quite fit into the "create" part of "Recycle & Create". So, with some bubble wrap put aside for her dancing later, we also decided to do a little creating.
We explored different textures, using bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard cut into shapes. I put out paint and sponge brushes and some construction paper, but when Kay went off to get the markers I went with that too. She liked just coloring on the bubble wrap, with it's bumpy surface.
We also did prints with both the bubble wrap and the cardboard...
...and some crayon rubbing with both as well. (The cardboard came out much better!)
And after all that, her favorite part was still...dancing on the bubble wrap!
Time to share your bubble wrap creations! Stop by the Project: Recycle & Create page for more ways you can get involved.
