Looking for creative ways to celebrate National Lollipop Day (July 20)? Here's a couple of things to get you started:

*Make Your Own Jolly Rancher Lollipops: All you need are Jolly Ranchers (or a similar hard candy), lollipop sticks, parchment paper and a baking pan. About 10 minutes later you'll be taking the sticky treat out of the oven.
For more complete instructions, see the Kids Activities Blog.
A variation, involving smashing up different kinds of candy (fun!) and melting them together, check out Mess For Less

*Lollipop Flower: A few sheets of tissue paper cut into a large circle, with a pop poked into the middle. Tape it on to secure it and you're done. I made this one to surprise Kay with but it would be a great craft to do with the kids as well!
