We received these make-your-own snow globes from Oriental Trading. They come with a snowman insert that you can color, then you fill the globes with water and add the newly-colored snowman picture to the middle.
Only we decided to switch it up a bit. Kay has never really been into coloring, so instead we found some pictures and used the snowman insert as a guide to cut the photos to fit in the snowglobe. (You can really use anything here - pictures from magazines, free-style drawing, etc.)
The trickiest part was filling up the water, probably because I wasn't patient enough. But this was a quick and easy way to make our own snowglobes, and the photographs added a personalized touch to them. Kay loves that they feature...her!
