On one of those frigid days we've been having lately - the stay-in-your-pajamas kind - we decided to do this easy mitten craft from Oriental Trading. The wind was whistling against the windows as we set out our materials. What I liked about this one was that all the pieces were self-adhesive - no glue needed, no mess made.
While billed as ornaments, I thought they were just perfect for this after-Christmas, oh-so-cold day. I showed Kay how to set the string where she wanted it and then put the cuff sticker on top to keep it in place. Everything else was self-explanatory and as she finished one she asked to do another.
These didn't take long, but they passed some time stuck in the house and we ended up with adorable decorations to hang around the house too. Then we went and had some hot chocolate - because it was just that kind of day!
