Whether because of allergies or if there's a vegan in the house (that would be me!), not everyone wants to use real eggs at Easter. Fortunately there are lots of creative ways to keep the egg-decorating tradition alive - just minus the eggs! (And these all last way longer than the perishable kind too!)
Rocks - After a long winter indoors, spend some time outside gathering rocks to decorate. No Time for Flash Cards painted cute rocks as Easter eggs. (And they won't break if you drop them!)
Plastic eggs - Okay, so you can't paint or dye these, but add some Washi tape or stickers and you've got a kid-friendly project that won't even leave a mess.
Wooden eggs - Available at any craft store and so many ways to decorate them. I love the gems The Vegan Mom used!
Go fake - Eggnots are ceramic egg-shapes that are supposed to look and feel just like a real egg. Sounds like a fun new canvas to explore with!
