  Whether because of allergies or if there's a vegan in the house (that would be me!), not everyone wants to use real eggs at Easter. Fortunately there are lots of creative ways to keep the egg-decorating tradition alive - just minus the eggs! (And these all last way longer than the perishable kind too!)

Plastic eggs - Okay, so you can't paint or dye these, but add some Washi tape or stickers and you've got a kid-friendly project that won't even leave a mess.

Wooden eggs - Available at any craft store and so many ways to decorate them. I love the gems The Vegan Mom used!
