I like the easy crafts. Fortunately, at 4, Kay is still satisfied with this. And if they happen to also come out cute - bonus! These cardboard tube turkeys certainly fit the bill on both counts.
I went to update this post this year (to give it a rockin' title image; the original was too "meh") and discovered I had never published it. Oops. But that just gives me an excuse to show it to you this year!
A glue tear...and dirty fingernails! (That proves she had been playing outside!)
The 'feathers' were originally leaves for our Thankful Tree, but they also seemed to fit for this, so I grabbed some. We added some googly eyes (one of us added many googly eyes - I think you can guess who!) and a triangle beak and...that's it!
Then Kay took to flying hers around the kitchen. A craft that entertains even when it's through? Oh, yes. I liked this one!
