How adorable are these little mummies? (I bet those are two words you don't often find in the same sentence - "adorable" and "mummies"!)
Best part - they're really easy to make (and great for fine motor skills too!)
What we used:
- Cardboard tubes (or "toilet paper rolls," if you prefer)
- Gauze
- Glue
- Googly eyes (from our friends at CraftProjectIdeas.com)
We had some gauze left over from Kay's doctor kit (if we ever get a serious injury, I'm in trouble!) so we used that for this craft. Kay got to practice her new-found cutting skills by snipping the gauze into the sizes she wanted.
We squirted glue on the cardboard tube, and wrapped the gauze around it. (Kay was so meticulous about it - I loved her look of concentration!)
Then...googly eyes! Can't forget the googly eyes! (Just like real mummies?)
Then...googly eyes! Can't forget the googly eyes! (Just like real mummies?)
And voila...cute mummies! A super-quick and super-easy Halloween craft - just the way I like them!
