"Happy birthday to Lily..." Oh, sorry, still in party mode.
Our Chihuahua Lily turned 6 years old today so of course we had to celebrate. (Yes, we're the crazy dog people who would celebrate a birthday!) Honestly, it was mostly a fun thing I knew Kay would enjoy. I got noise-makers and a balloon at the dollar store and that was the extent of my preparation.
Kay got a celebratory freeze pop at the "party" and the dogs got one of their special treats. And of course we sang the birthday song. Kay even wrote Lily's name on a sign (had to throw in that letter practice, too!). Seven minutes later the whole thing was over and we went back inside to escape from the humidity. Ah, well - at least I didn't spend much on it!
